La recherche ne fonctionne plus sous prestashop 1.4.x

Du jour au lendemain votre site ne ressort plus aucun résultat lorsque l’on tape un mot clef dans le bloc de recherche rapide ? Pas de panique voici la solution.

Ce problème est dû à un caractère non valide qui s’est glissé dans l’un de vos produits, mais normalement cela ne devrait pas pour autant faire planter le moteur de recherche.
Pour corriger ce problème il faut ouvrir le fichier “classes/search.php” puis repérer la ligne 56.
Vous devez alors remplacer les caractères suivants:


{d800}

Par


{e000}

Relancez la construction de l’index via le menu “préférences/recherche” et re-faites un essai de recherche.
Désormais ça devrait fonctionner.

Bonjour, je n’y connais pas trop mais j’ai réussi à trouver l’endroit où on changeait la donnée! Du coup je viens de relancer la reconstruction de l’index et je croise très fort les doigts pour que ça fonctionne… parce que mon site sans le moteur de recherche c’est un peu problématique!

Bonjour, Merci pour ton travail et son partage, suis sous Mac , PrestaShop™ 1.4.6.2 hébergé chez OVH en mutualisé
j’édite le fichier/www/PrestaShop/classes/ search sous FileZilla (j’ai aussi un fichier SearchEgine mais pas mieux) ci dessous le problème qu’en penses tu ?
